Your Rainbow has fallen from the sky

   ~

Your rainbow has fallen from the sky

The sky turned black-

And Heaven starts to cry

Your heart-strings are suspended, between Jupiter and Mars

The love seems lost-

And burned-out with the stars

~

The colours have all dissolved to grey

The silence aches-

There’s nothing more to say

The dust of all your ‘yesterdays’ are sprinkled on the earth

And you don’t know if-

They’ll ever see re-birth

~

Green and Red, – estranged from Yellow/Blue

And Indigo, just don’t know what to do

The spectrum, bright and shining – had faded in the cold

You found the end – But there is no ‘Pot of Gold’

~

Can the sun break through that wounded cloud – and ‘Tango’ with the rain;

Can we trace the place where our hearts were one –  and call it back again

Lost in space, can we still embrace –  The path of refracted light;

(And) ‘dare to pray that the phoenix will take flight

~

Your rainbow has fallen from the sky

The sky turned black-

And Heaven starts to cry

Your heart-strings are suspended, between Jupiter and Mars

The love seems lost-

And burned-out with the stars

 Your rainbow has fallen from the sky…
